A. Industrial Park Needs Assessment (Economic Development Manager)
On April 15, the City Council approved starting preliminary work on a needs
assessment for the industrial park, and directed staff to form a project
Subcommittee with members from the EDB and BIPA, and one “at large”
member.
Recommendation: Appoint two members to serve on the BIP needs
assessment subcommittee.
VII. INFORMATIONAL UPDATE:
A. Special Events
At the April 15, 2008 Council meeting, Vice Mayor Campbell suggested the
EDB work with the organizers of the Gold & Gumbo and bike race events to
make the events more successful for everyone.
