The Audit and Finance Committee meets once a month during the day which may make it somewhat difficult for many interested residents to attend. However, for those who can attend, I suggest you try since the Committee's agenda is examining issues that are paramount to our budget review this spring. We have added a new task to this committee which will be reflected in its new title: "Budget, Audit and Finance Committee".
The Audit and Finance Committee will meet at 8am on Friday, April 4th, in the Commission Room at Benicia City Hall, 250 East L Street, Benicia, CA 94510.

The agenda includes previously requested topics, including: the City's PERS Retirement Rate History, Property Tax Trends in light of the foreclosure crisis, and Current Budget Issues and the Status of the Long Range Budget Model.
