On Thursday, January 24th at 6:30 PM there will be a presentation by the State Office of Historic Preservation on "Preservation Matters" specifically on the Mills Act program which provides tax incentives for historic home owners and on the California Environmental Quality Act for historic districts and cultural resources. These issues have been discussed at recent Council meetings and this presentation should help in our understanding of the purpose and standards to be considered. |
