Subject: Temporary Transit Service Reductions

The City Manager has issued the following advisory:
We have had to make some small temporary reductions in transit operations effective this week due to rising fuel costs and exceptional repair issues with our buses. Rob Sousa [Finance Director] will forward a memo outlining the changes today which we hope are not difficult for our customers.
They [the changes] have to do with a less frequent Saturday schedule for the Vallejo Ferry terminal to BART, Pleasant Hill and a mid-day reduction in frequency on our Flex Routes. On the flex routes, because the routes overlap, the change should not make much difference. |
