Your Two Hour Volunteer Job

Dear Friends,

Thank you for offering two hours. Here is the plan:

Tonight we finish phone banking (thank your lucky stars, right). You are NOT phone banking.

Tomorrow we are doing a Get Out The Vote polling exercise all day: this involves checking who has voted and contacting them. You are NOT signed up to do this (lucky again).

What I would like YOU to do is join two or three groups of people - we have ten signed up - to hold "Vote Elizabeth" signs standing in front of Safeway, Raleys and maybe Pedrottis.

I think this is a great way to show our grassroots and should be fun.

Please meet at my house: 1215 West Second Street to pick up signs at 4:45. You will be working the store fronts from 5:00 to 7:30. These are not rigid times, after all this is a volunteer effort.

Go to the end of the driveway to the first garage and Kimble or one of the campaign committee persons will meet you there. There will be one sign each so you can share holding the sign with your partner.

If you know someone else, invite them to join you - the more the merrier.
